Directions to the TRU Waste Processing Center

Directions from Knoxville

1. Take I-40 West to Exit 364, State Route 95-North (approximately 3 to 4 miles past the I-75-South split on I-40 West)
2. Take State Route 95-North to WIPP Road (approximately 1.6 miles from the off-ramp).
3. You will pass by a Shell Gas Station followed by Eagle's Wings Archery Shop and over the Melton Hill Bridge.  The entrance to our project site will be on the first winding turn just over the hill on the right-hand side.  You'll see two large TRU Project signs.  Enter here and proceed to the front access gate.
4. Check-in with the Access Control personnel at the front gate for site access and further directions.

Directions from Oak Ridge

1. Take Oak Ridge Turnpike to State Route 95-South.
2. Take State Route-95 South past Bethel Valley Road.
3. You'll drive through a series of winding turns followed by crossing the White Oak Dam bridge.  The entrance to our project site will be approximately 1,000-ft past the bridge on the left-hand side.  You'll see two large TRU Project signs.  Enter here and proceed to the front access gate.
4. Check-in with the Access Control Personnel at the front gate for site access and further directions.
